इंटरनेशनल चीता-डे के अवसर पर आज मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव कूनो नेशनल पार्क में तीन चीतों को खुले जंगल में छोड़ेंगे। कार्यक्रम की तैयारियों का निरीक्षण श्योपुर और शिवपुरी जिलों के प्रशासनिक और पुलिस अधिकारियों ने किया। कलेक्टर अर्पित वर्मा और एसपी सुधीर अग्रवाल ने कूनो पार्क के अहेरा गेट, हेलीपैड और चीता रिलीज प्वाइंट पर व्यवस्थाओं को परखा।
अधिकारियों ने शिवपुरी जिले के अहेरा गांव के पास बने अस्थायी हेलीपैड का भी निरीक्षण किया। शिवपुरी कलेक्टर रविन्द्र चौधरी और एसपी अमन सिंह राठौर भी इस दौरान मौजूद रहे। टीम ने आगमन मार्ग से लेकर रिलीज स्थल तक सुरक्षा, यातायात नियंत्रण और वन विभाग की तैयारियों की विस्तृत समीक्षा की।
जानकारी के अनुसार सीएम मोहन यादव आज गुरुवार दोपहर को लगभग 2:30 बजे श्योपुर पहुंचेंगे। अधिकारियों ने निर्देश दिए कि कार्यक्रम के दौरान सुरक्षा प्रोटोकॉल और पर्यावरण नियमों का सख्ती से पालन किया जाए। श्योपुर के कलेक्टर, एसपी और वन विभाग की संयुक्त टीम ने चीता रिलीज प्वाइंट पर सभी व्यवस्थाओं को अंतिम रूप दिया। डीएफओ आर. थिरुकुराल, एएसपी प्रवीण भूरिया और अन्य अधिकारियों ने भी निरीक्षण में भाग लिया।
वन विभाग ने बताया कि उन्नत ट्रैकिंग सिस्टम, निगरानी टीम और सुरक्षा उपकरणों की तैनाती कर दी गई है, ताकि चीतों की मूवमेंट पर लगातार नजर रखी जा सके। कूनो नेशनल पार्क में इस समय कुल 29 चीते हैं, जिनमें से 16 पहले से खुले जंगल में घूम रहे हैं। एनक्लोजर में रखे चीतों में से तीन मादा चीता वीरा और उसके दो 10 महीने के शावकों को खुले जंगल में छोड़ा जाएगा। रिलीज का उद्देश्य चीतों को प्राकृतिक वातावरण में ढालना, उन्हें जंगली व्यवहार के अनुकूल बनाना और प्राकृतिक शिकार पर निर्भरता बढ़ाना है।
मुख्यमंत्री यादव इस अवसर पर कूनो नेशनल पार्क का 2026 कैलेंडर जारी करेंगे। इसके साथ ही “फ्री-रेंजिंग चीतों के क्लिनिकल मैनेजमेंट के लिए फील्ड मैनुअल” भी लॉन्च किया जाएगा।पार्क में बनी नई सुविनियर शॉप का उद्घाटन भी इसी मौके पर किया जाएगा, जिससे पर्यटकों के अनुभव को और समृद्ध करने के साथ ही संरक्षण जागरूकता को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
