महाराष्ट्र के उच्च एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा मंत्री चंद्रकांत पाटिल ने शनिवार को कहा कि राज्य के वरिष्ठ महाविद्यालयों में मार्च 2026 से पहले 5,500 सहायक प्राध्यापकों की भर्ती की जाएगी।
वह नांदेड़ स्थित स्वामी रामानंद तीर्थ मराठवाड़ा विश्वविद्यालय के 28वें दीक्षांत समारोह में बोल रहे थे।
पाटिल ने कहा कि सरकार ने वरिष्ठ महाविद्यालयों के लिए 5,500 सहायक प्राध्यापकों और 2,900 गैर-शिक्षण पदों को मंजूरी दे दी है। मंत्री ने बताया कि वित्त और योजना विभाग दोनों ने अपनी सहमति दे दी है।
सहायक प्राध्यापक की भर्ती प्रक्रिया जल्द होगी पूरी
उन्होंने कहा कि जल्द ही एक सरकारी प्रस्ताव (GR) जारी किया जाएगा और अगले साल मार्च से पहले 5,500 सहायक प्राध्यापकों के रिक्त पदों को भरा जाएगा।
पाटिल ने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालयों में 700 सहायक प्रोफेसरों की भर्ती के लिए पहले ही मंजूरी दे दी गई थी, लेकिन तत्कालीन राज्यपाल सी. पी. राधाकृष्णन द्वारा एक अलग तरीका सुझाए जाने के कारण यह प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं हो सकी।
उन्होंने कहा कि चूंकि राधाकृष्णन उपराष्ट्रपति नियुक्त हो चुके हैं, इसलिए यह मामला नए राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत के समक्ष उठाया जाएगा।

मंत्री ने कहा कि विदेशी छात्रों को आकर्षित करने के लिए विश्वविद्यालयों को मजबूत बनाया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि इस वर्ष एक एजेंसी नियुक्त की गई जिसके माध्यम से 65 देशों के 4,000 छात्रों ने नामांकन कराया, लेकिन ज्यादातर छात्रों ने पुणे और मुंबई को प्राथमिकता दी।
उन्होंने कहा कि आज के युवाओं में समाज को बदलने की अपार क्षमता है।
