दिल्ली-एनसीआर में प्रदूषण के साथ-साथ घने कोहरे ने लोगों की मुश्किलें बढ़ा दी हैं। बुधवार सुबह से ही राजधानी और आसपास के इलाकों में विजिबिलिटी बेहद कम दर्ज की गई, जिसका सीधा असर हवाई और रेल यातायात पर पड़ा। इंदिरा गांधी इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट पर खराब मौसम के कारण कई उड़ानों का संचालन प्रभावित हुआ, जबकि ट्रेनों की लेटलतीफी से यात्रियों को स्टेशनों पर इंतजार करना पड़ा।
हवाई सेवाओं पर बड़ा असर
घने कोहरे की वजह से दिल्ली एयरपोर्ट पर कुल 148 उड़ानें रद्द कर दी गईं। इनमें 70 उड़ानें दिल्ली से रवाना होने वाली थीं, जबकि 78 उड़ानें दिल्ली पहुंचने वाली थीं। इसके अलावा दो फ्लाइट्स को दूसरे एयरपोर्ट पर डायवर्ट किया गया। सुबह करीब 8:30 बजे सामान्य विजिबिलिटी सिर्फ 250 मीटर दर्ज की गई, जबकि रनवे पर यह 600 से 1000 मीटर के बीच रही। कम दृश्यता के चलते यात्रियों को काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा।
ट्रेन यातायात भी प्रभावित
कोहरे का असर सिर्फ हवाई सेवाओं तक सीमित नहीं रहा। कई लंबी दूरी की ट्रेनें अपने तय समय से देरी से चल रही हैं। दिल्ली के प्रमुख रेलवे स्टेशनों पर यात्रियों को घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ रहा है, जिससे रोजमर्रा की आवाजाही और यात्रा योजनाएं प्रभावित हुई हैं।
हवा की गुणवत्ता बनी चिंता का कारण
एयर क्वालिटी अर्ली वार्निंग सिस्टम के मुताबिक 31 दिसंबर और 1 जनवरी को दिल्ली की हवा ‘गंभीर’ श्रेणी में रह सकती है। कम हवा की गति और प्रतिकूल वेंटिलेशन इंडेक्स इसकी मुख्य वजह बताई जा रही है। मौसम विभाग ने चेतावनी दी है कि आने वाले दिनों में भी हालात ज्यादा बेहतर होने की उम्मीद नहीं है।
IMD ने जारी किया येलो अलर्ट
भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने दिल्ली के लिए येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है। विभाग के अनुसार कोहरा पहले के मुकाबले ज्यादा घना हो गया है। हवा की रफ्तार 10 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे से कम रहने और वेंटिलेशन इंडेक्स 6,000 वर्ग मीटर प्रति सेकंड से नीचे होने के कारण अगले कुछ दिनों तक वायु गुणवत्ता ‘बहुत खराब’ बनी रह सकती है।
इंडिगो की यात्रियों को सलाह
घने कोहरे को देखते हुए इंडिगो एयरलाइन ने यात्रियों के लिए ट्रैवल एडवाइजरी जारी की है। एयरलाइन ने कहा है कि कम विजिबिलिटी के कारण दिल्ली और उत्तर भारत के कई हवाई अड्डों पर उड़ानों में देरी हो सकती है। यात्रियों को सलाह दी गई है कि वे घर से निकलने से पहले अपनी फ्लाइट की स्थिति जरूर जांचें और समय से पहले एयरपोर्ट पहुंचें।
