ICC ने ठुकराई बांग्लादेश की मांग!
दरअसल, सोमवार यानी 12 जनवरी की शाम को जारी एक बयान में ICC के एक सूत्र ने इन दावों को खारिज कर दिया, जिसमें ढाका में नजरुल ने सार्वजनिक रूप से कहा था कि आईसीसी की रिपोर्ट में मुस्तफिजुर की सुरक्षा को भारत में खतरा बताया गया है।
आईसीसी के एक सूत्र ने नाम न छापने की शर्त पर पीटीआई को बताया कि उसकी की स्वतंत्र सुरक्षा जांच रिपोर्ट में ऐसा कोई बड़ा खतरा नहीं मिला, जिससे लगे कि बांग्लादेश के मैचों को भारत से शिफ्ट किए हटाए जाने का फैसला लेना चाहिए।
सूत्र ने सुरक्षा जोखिम को ‘लो टू मोडरेट’ (कम से मध्यम) स्तर पर आंका है, जो किसी भी बड़े अंतरराष्ट्रीय खेल आयोजन के हिसाब से सामान्य माना जाता है। इसका मतलब है कि भारत में ऐसी तैयारी की जा रही है कि सभी खिलाड़ियों को पर्याप्त सुरक्षा मिले और बांग्लादेश की टीम और प्लेयर्स बिना किसी डर के साथ सभी मैच खेलें।
क्या हुआ था विवाद?
बांग्लादेश के खेल सलाहकार आजिफ नजरुल (Asif Nazrul) ने पहले दावा किया था कि ICC की सुरक्षा टीम ने ढाका सरकार की चिंताओं को सही मानते हुए कहा कि बांग्लादेशी खिलाड़ियों और समर्थकों के लिए भारत में रहना मुश्किल और जोखिम भरा हो सकता है।
