पैसे गिनने के लिए मंगवानी पड़ी मशीन, टैक्स चोरी का बड़ा खेल

राजस्थान में इनकम टैक्स विभाग की ओर से 2 सितंबर को टैक्स चोरी को पकड़ने के लिए कई जगह छापे मारे गए। छापे के दौरान जयपुर के 28 और कोटा के 2 ठिकानों से करोड़ों रुपये बरामत हुए।

ठगों पर प्रॉपर्टी डील्स में कैश लेन-देन और पान मसाला बिक्री के जरिए टैक्स चोरी का इल्जाम था। ये छापा इनकम टैक्स अधिकारियों द्वारा सुबह 6.30 बजे मारा गया। इस छापे में 150 से ज्यादा अधिकारी शामिल थे।

इस छापे को केंद्र सरकार की जीरो टॉलरेंस का हिस्सा बताया जा रहा है।

छापे में क्या-क्या मिला?
करोड़ों रुपये बरामद किए गए, पैसे गिनने के लिए अधिकारियों को मशीन मंगवानी पड़ी।
इन ठगों पर जीएसटी चोरी का भी केस बन सकता है।
वहीं कंप्यूटर के क्लाउड सर्वर पर 1000 करोड़ से ज्यादा फेक लेन-देन का रिकॉर्ड मिला।
फर्श टाइल्स के नीचे तिजोरियां मिली, जिनमें कैश और अनगिनत आभूषण रखे थे।
इसके साथ ही कोटा और जयपुर के गोदामों से पान मसाला, तंबाकू और रॉ मटेरियल जब्त किए गए हैं, क्योंकि ये बिना बिलिंग के अवैध रूप से बेचे जा रहे थे।

टैक्स चोरी को लेकर क्या है जुर्माना?
टैक्स चोरी को लेकर इनकम टैक्स विभाग की ओर से सख्त कानून बनाए गए हैं। टैक्स चोरी को लेकर ₹10,000 से ₹1,00,000 तक जुर्माना लग सकता है। वहीं अगर कोई जानबूझकर टैक्स चोरी करें तो ये ₹25 लाख से अधिक जुर्माना देना पड़ सकता है। इनकम टैक्स सेक्शन 276C के तहत टैक्स चोरी पर छह महीने से लेकर सात वर्ष तक की जेल भी हो सकती है।
