महाशिवरात्रि पर्व क्यों मनाया जाता है जानें कारण
पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार , महाशिवरात्रि पर्व के पीछे मनाने के कारण एक नहीं बल्कि तीन कारणों से मनाया जाता है। पहला कारण इस दिन भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती का विवाह मान्यता सबसे अधिक प्रसिद्ध है। लेकिन इसके पीछे दो कारण और है जिन्हें आपको पता होना चाहिए।
शिवलिग स्वरुप की उत्पत्ति
पौराणिक मान्यताओं के मुताबिक इस दिन भगवान शिव अपने शिवलिंग स्वरुप में प्रकट हुए थे। इस दिन पहली बार भगवान विष्णु और ब्रह्मदेव उनकी विधि-विधान से पूजा की थी। महाशिवरात्रि मनाने का यह भी कारण है।
समुद्र मंथन के बाद शिव ने पिया विष
