लखनऊ में भीषण आग का तांडव: विकास नगर की 200 झुग्गियां जलकर खाक

उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ के विकास नगर इलाके में बीते बुधवार शाम भीषण आग लग गई, जिससे करीब 200 झुग्गियां जलकर खाक हो गईं और स्थानीय लोगों में अफरा-तफरी मच गई। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि आग पर काफी हद तक काबू पा लिया गया है और पूरी तरह बुझाने के प्रयास जारी हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रारंभिक आकलन में किसी के हताहत होने या गंभीर रूप से घायल होने की सूचना नहीं है।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार, आग दोपहर बाद रिंग रोड के पास एक खाली भूखंड में लगी और तेज हवाओं तथा झग्गियों में मौजूद ज्वलनशील सामग्री के कारण तेजी से फैल गई। धुएं का घना गुबार कई किलोमीटर दूर से देखा गया। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि आग की तीव्रता के कारण कई छोटे रसोई गैस सिलेंडरों में विस्फोट हुए, हालांकि इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं हुई है। जिस इलाके में आग लगी, उसके आसपास होटल और कई ऑटोमोबाइल शोरूम भी स्थित हैं। घटना के बाद इलाके में दहशत फैल गई और लोग अपनी जान बचाने के साथ-साथ सामान सुरक्षित करने के लिए इधर-उधर भागते नजर आए, लेकिन अधिकांश सामान आग की भेंट चढ़ गया।
