उत्तराखंड दुग्ध सहकारी फेडरेशन ने आंचल दूध के दाम दो रुपये प्रति किलो बढ़ा दिए हैं। देहरादून जिले में दूध की बढ़ी हुई दरें एक जून से लागू होंगी जबकि नैनीताल व हरिद्वार जिले में नई दरें लागू हो चुकी हैं।
अमूल दूध के दाम में दो रुपये बढ़ोतरी के बाद प्रदेश सरकार का आंचल ब्रांड ने दूध की कीमत में बढ़ोतरी की है। बताया जा रहा है पैकेजिंग पॉलीथिन के रेट बढ़ने का असर दूध की कीमत पर पड़ा है। दुग्ध विकास विभाग के सहायक निदेशक जयदीप अरोड़ा ने बताया कि नैनीताल व हरिद्वार जिले में बीते सप्ताह से दूध की कीमत में दो रुपये की बढ़ोतरी लागू कर दी है जबकि देहरादून जिले में एक जून से लागू होंगी।
आंचल दूध की खपत मैदानी जिलों में अधिक है। जिससे तीन जिलों में ही दूध के दाम बढ़ाए गए हैं। प्रदेश में दुग्ध सहकारी समितियों के माध्यम से लगभग 56 हजार पशुपालकों से दूध एकत्रित किया जाता है। वर्तमान में प्रतिदिन 2.40 लाख लीटर दूध का उपार्जन किया जा रहा है।
