पहले भरोसा बहाल करने की मांग
इस प्रस्ताव पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए व्हाइट हाउस की प्रवक्ता ओलिविया वेल्स ने कहा कि, यह संवेदनशील कूटनीतिक मामला है और अमेरिका मीडिया के जरिए बातचीत नहीं करेगा। उन्होंने दोहराया कि अमेरिका केवल ऐसा समझौता करेगा, जिसमें उसके नागरिकों का हित सबसे ऊपर हो और ईरान को परमाणु हथियार हासिल करने की अनुमति कभी नहीं दी जाएगी।
उधर, ईरान के विदेश मंत्री अब्बास अराघची हाल ही में दो बार पाकिस्तान गए, लेकिन उन्होंने अमेरिका के साथ सीधे बातचीत से इनकार कर दिया। इसके जवाब में डोनल्ड ट्रंप ने कहा कि, बातचीत के लिए लंबी यात्राएं जरूरी नहीं हैं और इसे फोन पर भी किया जा सकता है।
दोनों पक्षों में अभी भी मतभेद जारी
