दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता आज सोमवार सुबह पहले केदारनाथ धाम पहुंची। यहां उन्होंने बाबा केदार के दर्शन किए। पूजा-अर्चना कर उन्होंने देश की खुशहाली के लिए प्रार्थना की। इसके बाद उन्होंने बदरीनाथ धाम के दर्शन किए। मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता इससे पहले रविवार को हरिद्वार दौरे पर पहुंचीं थी।
हरिद्वार में उन्होंने सबसे पहले पति के साथ हरकी पैड़ी पहुंचकर गंगा में स्नान किया। इस दौरान गंगा सभा ने उनका स्वागत किया। मुख्यमंत्री बनने के बाद रेखा गुप्ता पहली बार हरिद्वार पहुंची हैं। इस मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि आज का मां गंगा का स्नान मेरे लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
मैं अपनी सरकार के 100 दिन के कार्यकाल को पूरा कर आज पुण्य भूमि हरकी पैड़ी पर आई हूं। आज मैंने मां गंगा के चरणों में नमन करते हुए यही प्रार्थना की है कि भारतवर्ष विकसित हो और उसमें दिल्ली भी अपना स्थान बनाएं।
वहीं दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि संतों की इच्छा की तरह मैं भी चाहती हूं कि एक दिन हम यमुना में भी स्नान करें। इसके लिए यमुना नदी की स्वच्छता के लिए अभियान पूरे कार्यकाल में चलेगा। कहा कि सीएम बनने के बाद पहली बार धर्मनगरी में गंगा स्नान किया है और यहीं से संकल्पित भाव से संतों का आशीर्वाद लेकर जाएंगे। उन्होंने यह बात रविवार को कनखल में आयोजित वात्सल्य गंगा आश्रय के लोकार्पण पर कहीं।
