गुजरात एटीएस-कोस्ट गार्ड की कार्रवाई, 1,800 करोड़ की ड्रग्स समुद्र में फेंक भागे तस्कर

गांधीनगर। पाकिस्तान से ड्रग्स की तस्करी की एक बड़ी साजिश को गुजरात एटीएस और भारतीय कोस्ट गार्ड ने संयुक्त ऑपरेशन में नाकाम कर दिया। भारतीय सुरक्षा बलों को देखकर पाकिस्तानी तस्कर 311 किलोग्राम ड्रग्स समुद्र में फेंककर भाग गए, जिसकी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार में कीमत करीब 1,800 करोड़ रुपए आंकी गई है। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने इस सफल अभियान की सराहना की है।
यह कार्रवाई 12 और 13 अप्रैल की रात को समुद्र में की गई। गुजरात एटीएस को खुफिया सूचना मिली थी कि पाकिस्तान का ड्रग्स सप्लायर फिदा तमिलनाडु की एक नौका को 400 किलोग्राम ड्रग्स सौंपने वाला है।
गुजरात एटीएस के डीआईजी सुनील जोशी के अनुसार, इंस्पेक्टर जे.एम. पटेल को इस सौदे की जानकारी मिली थी। इसके बाद गुजरात एटीएस की टीम को कोस्ट गार्ड के साथ ऑपरेशन के लिए रवाना किया गया। एटीएस के इंस्पेक्टर वी.एन. भरवाड़ और सब-इंस्पेक्टर भूपेंद्र वाघेला को कोस्ट गार्ड की टीम के साथ समुद्र में भेजा गया। पाकिस्तानी नाव रडार पर देखते ही भारतीय कोस्ट गार्ड का जहाज उसके पास पहुंचा। कोस्ट गार्ड को देखकर तस्कर नाव से ड्रग्स समुद्र में फेंककर पाकिस्तानी सीमा की ओर भाग गए।
उन्होंने बताया कि रंगे हाथ पकड़े जाने से बचने के लिए और खुद को निर्दोष साबित करने के लिए तस्कर नाव से ड्रग्स को समुद्र में फेंकने की रणनीति अपनाते हैं।
यह घटना अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुद्री सीमा (आईएमबीएल) के बेहद नजदीक हुई, जिससे पाकिस्तानी नाव आसानी से अपनी सीमा में दाखिल हो गई। हालांकि, एटीएस और कोस्ट गार्ड की टीमों ने समुद्र से 311 पैकेट ड्रग्स बरामद किए।
जांच में सामने आया कि इन पैकेट्स में मेथामफेटामाइन नामक ड्रग्स थी, जो नशीली दवाओं की श्रेणी में आती है। पिछले साल भी एक मामले में फिदा का नाम सामने आया था, जिसमें 173 किलोग्राम ड्रग्स की तस्करी की गई थी। इस मामले में भी फिदा मुख्य आरोपी था।
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने इस ऑपरेशन की तारीफ करते हुए सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म एक्स पर एक पोस्ट में लिखा, नशा मुक्त भारत बनाने के निरंतर प्रयास में, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुद्री सीमा के पास 1,800 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य के 300 किलोग्राम मादक पदार्थ जब्त करके एक बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की गई। समुद्र में यह ऑपरेशन, मादक पदार्थों की बुराई को जड़ से खत्म करने के लिए मोदी सरकार के समग्र दृष्टिकोण की सफलता का एक शानदार उदाहरण है। इस शानदार सफलता के लिए गुजरात पुलिस एटीएस और इंडियन कोस्टगार्ड की सराहना करता हूं।
बता दें कि गुजरात एटीएस ने साल 2018 से अब तक समुद्री मार्ग से ड्रग्स तस्करी के 20 मामले दर्ज किए हैं, जिसमें कुल 5,454.756 किलोग्राम ड्रग्स जब्त की गई है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार में इनकी कुल कीमत करीब 10,277 करोड़ रुपए आंकी गई है। अब तक इन मामलों में 163 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है, जिनमें 77 पाकिस्तानी, 34 ईरानी, चार अफगानी, दो नाइजीरियन और 46 भारतीय नागरिक शामिल हैं।
