नई दरों के अनुसार, दिल्ली में 14.2 किलोग्राम वाला घरेलू एलपीजी सिलिंडर अब 913 रुपये के बजाय 942 रुपये में मिलेगा। संशोधित कीमतें तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू हो गई हैं।
यह पिछले तीन महीनों में घरेलू गैस की दूसरी मूल्य वृद्धि है। इससे पहले सात मार्च को सरकार ने घरेलू एलपीजी सिलिंडर के दाम 60 रुपये बढ़ाए थे। लगातार दूसरी बढ़ोतरी से घरेलू उपभोक्ताओं के मासिक बजट पर अतिरिक्त बोझ पड़ेगा।

एलपीजी कीमतों में यह बढ़ोतरी ऐसे समय हुई है जब अन्य ईंधनों के दाम भी बढ़े हैं। मई के मध्य से पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में कुल मिलाकर करीब 7.50 रुपये प्रति लीटर तक की वृद्धि हो चुकी है, जबकि सीएनजी के दाम भी लगभग 6 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम बढ़ाए गए हैं।
