नई दिल्ली : दक्षिण पूर्व जिले के अमर कॉलोनी थाना पुलिस ने एक उबर ड्राइवर को पिस्तौल दिखाकर धमकी देने और उसकी कार का शीशा तोड़ने के आरोप में कीर्ति नगर निवासी पूर्व कांग्रेस पार्षद प्रत्याशी राजन भरारा(41) को गिरफ्तार किया है। राजन 2012 में एमसीडी चुनाव लड़ा था और हार गया था। उसके पास से एक पिस्तौल व आई-10 कार भी जब्त की है। डीसीपी चिन्मय बिश्वास के अनुसार मामला 31 जनवरी की रात करीब तीन बजे का है। पीसीआर कॉल उबर कैब ड्राइवर की तरफ से मिली थी।पुलिस ने उक्त कार का पीछा किया और उसके ड्राइवर को दबोच लिया। पुलिस को संगम विहार निवासी उबर ड्राइवर सलमान ने बताया कि वह रात करीब पौने तीन बजे पैसेंजर का इंतजार कर रहा था। इसी समय आरोपी आई-10 के चालक से साइड देने को लेकर झगड़ा हो गया। आरोपित कार चालक ने पिस्तौल निकाल ली और उसकी कार का शीशा तोड़ दिया। इसके बाद वह मौके से फरार हो गया। आरोपित राजन भराराे प्रॉपर्टी डीलर है।
उसने पुलिस पूछताछ में बताया कि वह एक बर्थडे पार्टी अटेंड करने ईस्ट ऑफ कैलाश के एक रेस्टोरेंट में आया था। पार्टी के बाद वह अपने एक दोस्त को छोड़ने अमर कॉलोनी आया था। इसी दौरान उसकी उबर ड्राइवर से साइड को लेकर झगड़ा हुआ था। पुलिस रिकॉर्ड में राजन के खिलाफ आर्म्स एक्ट समेत तीन केस पहले से दर्ज पाये गये हैं। आरोपित के पास से बरामद हुई पिस्तौल अवैध है। राजन ने पिस्तौल को मेरठ के किसी जानकार से दबंगई दिखाने के मकसद से ली थी। इसके खिलाफ दर्ज पहले मामले मौरिस नगर, कीर्ति नगर और डिफेंस कालोनी थानों में दर्ज थे।
