समाचार एजेंसी पीटीआई की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक प्रधानमंत्री शरीफ ने पीसीबी से कहा कि बांग्लादेश को पूर्ण समर्थन दें। बांग्लादेश को टूर्नामेंट से बाहर कर दिया गया है और उसकी जगह स्कॉटलैंड को शामिल किया। बांग्लादेश ने अपने मैच भारत के बजाय श्रीलंका में आयोजित कराने के लिए आईसीसी से गुजारिश की थी, जिसे मंजूरी नहीं मिली थी।
