समस्तीपुर-बरौनी रेल खंड में बागमती एक्सप्रेस में टिकट जांच के नाम पर यात्रियों से अवैध वसूली करने वाले एक फर्जी टीटीई को यात्रियों की मदद से पकड़ लिया गया। यह घटना ट्रेन में यात्रा कर रहे लोगों के लिए एक चेतावनी के रूप में सामने आई है। पकड़े गए फर्जी टीटीई की पहचान बेगूसराय जिले के तेघड़ा थाना क्षेत्र निवासी हर्षवर्धन भारद्वाज उर्फ चुलबुल के रूप में हुई है। जानकारी के अनुसार आरोपी बागमती एक्सप्रेस में यात्रा कर रहा था और इसी दौरान उसने 8 से 10 यात्रियों से टिकट जांच के बहाने रुपये वसूल लिए।
घटना का खुलासा उस समय हुआ जब समस्तीपुर रेल मंडल की ओर से पीछे से आ रही अधिकृत टिकट निरीक्षण टीम ट्रेन में पहुंची। टीम ने यात्रियों से टिकट दिखाने को कहा, तो यात्रियों ने बताया कि थोड़ी देर पहले एक टीटीई ने टिकट जांच की थी और उनसे पैसे लिए गए हैं। इस पर टीम में शामिल टीटीई टून टून राय को शक हुआ और उन्होंने बताए गए व्यक्ति की तलाश शुरू की।
जांच के दौरान संदिग्ध व्यक्ति से पूछताछ की गई, लेकिन वह अपनी पहचान और अधिकारिक दस्तावेज पेश नहीं कर सका। कड़ाई से पूछताछ करने पर स्पष्ट हुआ कि वह रेलवे का कर्मचारी नहीं है और फर्जी तरीके से टीटीई बनकर यात्रियों से वसूली कर रहा था।
इसके बाद आरोपी को मौके पर ही पकड़कर आरपीएफ समस्तीपुर के हवाले कर दिया गया। आरपीएफ समस्तीपुर ने टीटीई टून टून राय के बयान के आधार पर मामला दर्ज किया और आरोपी को आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए रेल पुलिस समस्तीपुर को सौंप दिया। रेल थाना अध्यक्ष बीरबल कुमार ने बताया कि आरोपी के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर ली गई है और मामले की जांच जारी है। उन्होंने यात्रियों से अपील की है कि टिकट जांच के दौरान केवल अधिकृत टीटीई से ही टिकट दिखाएं और किसी भी संदिग्ध व्यक्ति की सूचना तुरंत रेलवे या आरपीएफ को दें।
