उज्जैन के विश्व प्रसिद्ध महाकालेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिर में ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रथमा/द्वितीया तिथि पर भस्म आरती के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं की भारी भीड़ उमड़ी। बाबा महाकाल का राम-नाम अंकित बिल्व पत्रों, त्रिपुंड और त्रिनेत्र से विशेष श्रृंगार किया गया, जिसके दिव्य दर्शन के लिए हजारों भक्त देर रात से ही कतारों में लगे रहे।
ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रथमा/द्वितीया तिथि पर मंगलवार सुबह भस्म आरती के दौरान बाबा महाकाल के दरबार में हजारों श्रद्धालुओं का सैलाब उमड़ पड़ा। इस दौरान भक्तों ने देर रात से ही लाइन में लगकर अपने इष्ट देव बाबा महाकाल के दर्शन किए। आज बाबा महाकाल भी भक्तों को दर्शन देने के लिए सुबह चार बजे जागे। उनका अलौकिक श्रृंगार कर भस्म रमाई गई। भक्तों ने इन दिव्य दर्शनों का लाभ लिया, जिससे पूरा मंदिर परिसर जय श्री महाकाल के जयघोष से गुंजायमान हो गया।
श्री महाकालेश्वर मंदिर के पुजारी पंडित महेश शर्मा ने बताया कि विश्व प्रसिद्ध श्री महाकालेश्वर मंदिर में ज्येष्ठ अधिकमास शुक्ल पक्ष की प्रथमा/द्वितीया तिथि पर मंगलवार सुबह चार बजे भस्म आरती संपन्न हुई। इस दौरान वीरभद्र जी से आज्ञा लेकर मंदिर के पट खुलते ही पंडे-पुजारियों ने गर्भगृह में स्थापित सभी भगवानों की प्रतिमाओं का पूजन-अर्चन किया।
इसके बाद भगवान महाकाल का जलाभिषेक दूध, दही, घी, शक्कर, पंचामृत और फलों के रस से किया गया। पूजन के दौरान प्रथम घंटा बजाकर हरि-ओम का जल अर्पित किया गया। पुजारियों और पुरोहितों ने बाबा महाकाल का भव्य स्वरूप में श्रृंगार कर कपूर आरती के बाद उन्हें नवीन मुकुट धारण कराया।
इसके बाद महानिर्वाणी अखाड़े की ओर से भगवान महाकाल के शिवलिंग पर भस्म अर्पित की गई और फिर झांझ-मंजीरे, ढोल-नगाड़ों तथा शंखनाद के साथ भस्म आरती की गई। आज के श्रृंगार की विशेषता यह रही कि प्रथमा/द्वितीया तिथि की भस्म आरती में बाबा महाकाल का श्रृंगार राम-नाम अंकित बिल्व पत्रों से किया गया तथा उनके शीश पर त्रिपुंड और त्रिनेत्र लगाकर सजाया गया।
इस अलौकिक दर्शन का लाभ हजारों भक्तों ने लिया। मान्यता है कि भस्म अर्पित करने के बाद भगवान निराकार से साकार स्वरूप में दर्शन देते हैं।
