पाकिस्तान के नवनिर्वाचित राष्ट्रपति आरिफ अल्वी ने सोमवार को संसद के संयुक्त सत्र में अपने पहले भाषण में ही कश्मीर का राग अलापा. संसद में बोलते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि कश्मीरी लोगों को ‘आत्म निर्णय’ का अधिकार है. उन्होंने कश्मीर के मुद्दे पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय से मदद करने का आग्रह किया. साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि पाकिस्तान भारत के साथ शांतिपूर्ण संबंध चाहता है.
‘जियो न्यूज’ ने राष्ट्रपति के हवाले से बताया, हम कश्मीर मुद्दे का शांतिपूर्ण ढ़ंग से समाधान चाहते हैं और इसके लिए प्रयास जारी रखेंगे. कश्मीरी लोगों को आत्म-निर्णय का अधिकार है और मैं अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय से मदद करने का आग्रह करता हूं.’ बता दें कि प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान के करीबी सहयोगी और सत्तारूढ़ पाकिस्तान तहरीक-ए-इंसाफ (पीटीआई) पार्टी के संस्थापक सदस्यों में से एक आरिफ अल्वी ने संसद के संयुक्त सत्र में पहली बार सांसदों को संबोधित किया. वह 09 सितंबर को देश के 13वें राष्ट्रपति बने थे.
‘डॉन’ की खबर के अनुसार उन्होंने कहा कि कश्मीर मुद्दे को लेकर एक-दूसरे पर दोषारोपण करने में शामिल होने के बजाय वह चाहेंगे कि सरकार हर स्तर पर अपने प्रयासों को जारी रखे. राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच संबंधों को सुधारना महत्वपूर्ण है. पाकिस्तान कश्मीर के संबंध में अपने प्रयासों को जारी रखेगा. ‘द एक्सप्रेस ट्रिब्यून’ ने अल्वी के हवाले से कहा कि हम सभी आवश्यक कदम उठायेंगे कि उन्हें (कश्मीर) उनके अधिकारों से वंचित नहीं किया जाए.
