तेल अवीव। इजरायल और हमास के बीच संघर्ष विराम के लिए जारी कई दौर की परोक्ष वार्ता में शामिल अमेरिका, कतर और मिश्र युद्ध विराम समझौते को अंतिम रूप देने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं।
गाजा में हमास के उग्रवादियों द्वारा छह इजरायली बंधकों की नृशंस हत्या के बाद अमेरिका ने युद्ध विराम समझौते के प्रारूप को जल्द अंतिम रूप देने के लिए दबाव बनाना शुरू किया है। मारे गए बंधकों के शवों के पोस्टमार्टम में पता चला है कि उन्हें नजदीक से कई बार गोली मारी गई थी। इन बंधकों के शव कई दिन बाद गाजा में इजरायल डिफेंस फोर्सेज (आईडीएफ) द्वारा बरामद किए गए थे।
इजरायली मीडिया के मुताबिक, अमेरिका के वार्ताकारों ने कतर और मिस्र से युद्ध विराम समझौता जल्दी करने के लिए कहा है।
इजरायली मीडिया में यह भी कहा जा रहा है कि हमास और इजरायल के बीच युद्ध विराम और बंधकों की रहाई के प्रावधान वाले इस समझौते का अंतिम प्रारूप तैयार कर लिया गया है।
उल्लेखनीय है कि अमेरिकी पक्ष मध्यस्थता वार्ता में नए सिरे से तेजी लाना चाहता है, क्योंकि मारे गए छह बंधकों में से एक इजरायली अमेरिकी नागरिक हैरिस गोल्डबर्ग-पोलिन भी है।
दोहा और काहिरा में हुई शांति वार्ता की अध्यक्षता करने वाले अमेरिकी खुफिया एजेंसी सीआईए के निदेशक विलियम बर्न्स ने प्रस्ताव को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए अगले दौर की वार्ता जल्द आयोजित करने के लिए इजरायली सरकार से पहले ही कह दिया है।
इसके बाद इजरायल के प्रधानमंत्री बेंजामिन नेतन्याहू पर सीजफायर समझौते को लागू करने और हमास की कैद से बंधकों को छुड़ाने का दबाव बढ़ रहा है।
इजरायल और हमास के बीच पिछले साल नवंबर से जारी संघर्ष में छह बंधकों के शव मिलने के बाद पूरे इजरायल में बड़े पैमाने पर विरोध-प्रदर्शन हुए और इजरायली सरकार पर बंधकों को मुक्त कराने के लिए हमास के साथ युद्ध विराम समझौता करने के लिए दबाव बढ़ रहा है।
राजधानी तेल अवीव, यरुशलम और अन्य शहरों में लोगों ने बंधकों को बचाकर लाने के लिए अपनी ही सरकार के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन किए और प्रधानमंत्री बेंजामिन नेतन्याहू से इस मामले में गंभीर कदम उठाने की मांग की।
बंधकों और लापता लोगों के परिवार बंधकों को वापस लाने के लिए पूरे देश में एक के बाद एक विरोध-प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं।
उल्लेखनीय है कि 7 अक्टूबर 2023 को हमास के आतंकवादियों ने दक्षिणी इजरायल में घुसकर 1,200 लोगों की बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी थी और 251 लोगों को बंधक बना लिया था। इजरायल के मुताबिक, इन बंधकों में केवल 66 लोग ही जीवित बचे हैं।
