बर्फीली हवाओं ने नवंबर की शुरुआत में ही मध्यप्रदेश को ठिठुरा दिया है। दिन में चल रही सर्द हवाएं और रात की ठिठुरन ने तापमान को लगातार नीचे गिरा दिया है। बीती रात प्रदेश के 11 शहरों में पारा 10 डिग्री सेल्सियस से नीचे पहुंच गया। मौसम विभाग ने अगले चार दिन तक शीतलहर यानी कोल्ड वेव की चेतावनी जारी की है। बुधवार को भोपाल और इंदौर सहित 23 जिलों के लिए अलर्ट जारी हुआ है।
नवंबर में टूटा 25 साल का रिकॉर्ड
इस बार ठंड ने नवंबर में ही पिछले कई रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए हैं। भोपाल और इंदौर में पारा 25 साल में सबसे नीचे चला गया है। मौसम विभाग के वैज्ञानिक अरुण शर्मा ने बताया कि हिमालय क्षेत्र में पश्चिमी विक्षोभ (वेस्टर्न डिस्टर्बेंस) सामान्य से एक सप्ताह पहले सक्रिय हो गया। इसी कारण जम्मू-कश्मीर, उत्तराखंड और हिमाचल प्रदेश में भारी बर्फबारी हो रही है, और उत्तरी हवा के रुख के चलते ठंडी लहरों का असर मध्यप्रदेश तक पहुंच गया है।

अब तक ठंड का असर मुख्य रूप से प्रदेश के पश्चिमी हिस्से भोपाल, इंदौर, उज्जैन, ग्वालियर, चंबल और नर्मदापुरम संभागों में था, लेकिन अब जबलपुर, सागर, रीवा और शहडोल जैसे पूर्वी इलाकों में भी कड़ाके की सर्दी महसूस की जा रही है। सोमवार-मंगलवार की रात जबलपुर में सीजन की सबसे सर्द रात दर्ज हुई, जहां पारा 9.7 डिग्री रहा। भोपाल में 8.3, इंदौर में 8.4, ग्वालियर में 11 और उज्जैन में 11.5 डिग्री सेल्सियस तापमान दर्ज किया गया। सबसे ठंडा शहर राजगढ़ रहा, जहां पारा 8 डिग्री तक गिर गया।
प्रदेश के शहर हिमाचल-उत्तराखंड से भी ठंडे
