पूजा की बेटी अलाया एफ जब पांच साल की और बेटे दो साल का था तब एक्ट्रेस अपने पति से अलग हो गई थीं। पूजा बेदी ने 1994 में फरहान फर्नीचरवाला से शादी की। इस कपल ने 1997 में अपनी बेटी, अभिनेत्री अलाया एफ का स्वागत किया, जिसके बाद उनके बेटे उमर का जन्म हुआ। लगभग एक दशक के वैवाहिक जीवन के बाद दोनों का 2003 में तलाक हो गया।
