प्रदेश में आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं की पदोन्नति के लिए नियमावली संशोधित होगी। जिससे सुपरवाइजर के 50% पदों पर इनकी पदोन्नति का रास्ता साफ हो सकेगा। महिला सशक्तीकरण एवं बाल विकास मंत्री रेखा आर्या के मुताबिक संशोधन का प्रस्ताव कैबिनेट में लाया जाएगा। प्रदेश में 20 हजार से अधिक आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता हैं।
वर्तमान नियमावली में इनका सुपरवाइजर के पदों पर पदोन्नति के लिए 40 प्रतिशत कोटा है। 10 प्रतिशत कोटा मिनी आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं के लिए है। जबकि शेष 50 प्रतिशत पदों को अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग के माध्यम से सीधी भर्ती से भरा जाता है। केंद्र सरकार की मंजूरी के बाद राज्य के सभी 5120 मिनी आंगनबाड़ी, उच्चीकृत होकर आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र बन चुके हैं। इनके उच्चीकरण से मिनी आंगनबाड़ी के पद खत्म हो चुके हैं।
मंत्री के मुताबिक सुपरवाइजर नियमावली में संशोधन से आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं के सुपरवाइजर के पदों पर हर साल पदोन्नति का रास्ता साफ हो जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा, पूर्व में आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं की सुपरवाइजर के पदों पर 10 से 20 साल बाद पदोन्नति होती थी, इससे आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता एक ही पद से सेवानिवृत्त हो रहे थे, लेकिन अब सरकार खाली पदों पर इनकी हर साल पदोन्नति करेगी।
