नई दिल्ली। पुणे में 17 से 19 जून 2022 तक चले अखिल भारतीय कराटे चैम्पियनशिप 2022 में दिल्ली के खिलाड़ियों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया।
दिल्ली के खिलाड़ियों ने अनिकेत गुप्ता के नेतृत्व में खेलते हुए टूर्नामेंट में कुल 10 पदक (4 स्वर्ण,3 रजत और 3 कांस्य) जीते।
पदक जीतने वाले खिलाड़ियों में दीपिका धीमान (स्वर्ण पदक), प्रणय शर्मा (स्वर्ण पदक), नवीन भिंडिया (रजत पदक), मनीष (स्वर्ण पदक), हर्ष (स्वर्ण पदक), यश शर्मा (कांस्य पदक), अख्तर (रजत पदक), मनोज दोहिया (रजत पदक), श्वेता (कांस्य पदक) और शिवम (कांस्य पदक) शामिल हैं।
प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन वर्ल्ड कराटे फेडेरेशन द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त महासंघ द्वारा किया गया। दिल्ली टीम की अगुवाई हानशी भारत शर्मा महासचिव कराटे एसोसिएशन ऑफ दिल्ली द्वारा की गई।
दिल्ली टीम कप्तान अनिकेत गुप्ता का व्यक्तित्व रूप से राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर यह लगातार 37वां पदक (15 वर्ष में) है । दीपिका धीमान लगातार 32वां पदक (12 वर्ष में) जीता। प्रतियोगिता में संजय महारैल दिल्ली टीम के कोच थे।
