कोलकाता में छापेमारी के दौरान 6.6 करोड़ रुपये की नकली दवाएं जब्त

नई दिल्ली। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने मंगलवार को बड़ा खुलासा किया। बताया कि कोलकाता में 6.6 करोड़ रुपये की दवाएं जब्त की गई हैं। जिनमें कैंसर और मधुमेह का इलाज करने वाले ड्रग्स भी शामिल हैं। इस मामले में एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार भी किया गया है।

स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय के एक बयान के अनुसार, केंद्रीय औषधि मानक नियंत्रण संगठन (सीडीएससीओ) और औषधि नियंत्रण निदेशालय द्वारा पश्चिम बंगाल के एक थोक परिसर में संयुक्त जांच की गई।

मंत्रालय ने बताया, कोलकाता स्थित एम/एस केयर एंड क्योर फॉर यू पर की गई छापेमारी में बड़ी मात्रा में कैंसर, मधुमेह और अन्य रोग के ट्रीटमेंट में प्रयुक्त होने वाली दवाएं जब्त की गई। इनके नकली होने का संदेह है।

इन दवाओं पर आयरलैंड, तुर्की, अमेरिका और बांग्लादेश सहित विभिन्न देशों का लेबल लगा है। भारत में इनके वैध आयात को साबित करने के लिए कोई सहायक दस्तावेज नहीं पाया गया है।

मंत्रालय ने कहा, ऐसे दस्तावेजों के अभाव में इन दवाओं को नकली माना जाता है। जांच दल को कई खाली पैकिंग सामग्री भी मिली, जिससे जब्त उत्पादों की प्रामाणिकता पर चिंता बढ़ गई है।

जब्त की गई दवाओं का कुल बाजार मूल्य लगभग 6.60 करोड़ रुपये आंका गया है।

उचित जांच सुनिश्चित करने के लिए दवाओं के नमूने को परीक्षण के लिए भेजा गया है। शेष जब्त मात्रा को सीडीएससीओ द्वारा सुरक्षित रखा जा रहा है।

मंत्रालय के अनुसार, जांच के बाद आरोपी महिला को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया, जिसकी पहचान थोक विक्रेता कंपनी की मालकिन के रूप में हुई है। उसे सीडीएससीओ के पूर्वी जोन के औषधि निरीक्षक ने हिरासत में लिया।

अदालत ने आरोपी को 14 दिनों की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया है तथा आगे की पूछताछ की अनुमति दे दी है। इस मामले में आगे की जांच जारी है।

मंत्रालय ने कहा कि नकली दवाओं पर की गई कार्रवाई बाजार में नकली और घटिया दवाओं के प्रचलन के प्रति सरकार की जीरो टॉलरेंस की नीति को रेखांकित करती है।
