दिल्ली सरकार सोमनाथ स्वाभिमान पर्व सोमनाथ यात्रा आयोजित करने जा रही है। इस पहल के तहत 30 अप्रैल को सफदरजंग रेलवे स्टेशन से 1300 श्रद्धालुओं को लेकर एक विशेष ट्रेन गुजरात के सोमनाथ धाम के लिए रवाना होगी। मुख्यमंत्री खुद इस ट्रेन को हरी झंडी दिखाएंगी। यह यात्रा 1000 वर्षों की अखंड आस्था थीम पर आधारित है और इसका मकसद लोगों को अपनी सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक जड़ों से जोड़ना है। यात्रा पूरी तरह निशुल्क होगी।
यह ट्रेन 30 अप्रैल को दिल्ली से रवाना होकर अगले दिन सुबह सोमनाथ पहुंचेगी। इसके बाद 1, 2 और 3 मई को श्रद्धालु भगवान शिव के ज्योतिर्लिंग सोमनाथ मंदिर के दर्शन करेंगे और आसपास के अन्य प्रमुख मंदिरों में भी पूजा-अर्चना का अवसर मिलेगा। यात्रा के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं के ठहरने, भोजन, पेयजल और अन्य जरूरी सुविधाओं की पूरी व्यवस्था गुजरात सरकार की ओर से की जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने इसके लिए गुजरात सरकार का आभार भी जताया है।
