पंजाब में बेहद घने कोहरे का कहर जारी है। घने कोहरे और कम दृश्यता के कारण बुधवार को अमृतसर के श्री गुरु रामदास जी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर विमान परिचालन प्रभावित रहा। खराब मौसम की वजह से कई उड़ानें रद्द करनी पड़ीं, जबकि अनेक विमानों को देरी से उड़ान भरनी पड़ी। इससे यात्रियों को काफी असुविधा का सामना करना पड़ा।
जानकारी के अनुसार एयर इंडिया एक्सप्रेस की दुबई से अमृतसर आने वाली उड़ान आईएक्स-320 को सुरक्षा कारणों से रद्द किया गया। इसी तरह मलेशिया एयरलाइंस की कुआलालंपुर से अमृतसर आने वाली उड़ान एमएच-148 और अमृतसर से कुआलालंपुर जाने वाली उड़ान एमएच-149 भी रद्द कर दी गई। इसके अलावा एयर इंडिया की दिल्ली से अमृतसर आने वाली एक उड़ान भी खराब मौसम के चलते संचालित नहीं हो सकी।
कनेक्टिंग फ्लाइट्स पर भी असर
घने कोहरे का असर दिल्ली सहित उत्तर भारत के कई हवाई अड्डों पर देखने को मिला, जिसका प्रभाव अमृतसर से जुड़ी कनेक्टिंग फ्लाइट्स पर भी पड़ा। कई उड़ानों के आगमन और प्रस्थान समय में एक से तीन घंटे तक की देरी दर्ज की गई।
एयरपोर्ट प्रशासन और एयरलाइंस ने यात्रियों से अपील की है कि वे एयरपोर्ट रवाना होने से पहले अपनी उड़ान की स्थिति की पुष्टि अवश्य करें। अधिकारियों के अनुसार मौसम में सुधार होते ही उड़ान संचालन को सामान्य करने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं।
अगले पांच दिन घने कोहरे की चेतावनी
मौसम विभाग ने बुधवार से दो दिनों के लिए पंजाब के 16 जिलों में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश पड़ने का अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है। इन जिलों में पठानकोट, गुरदासपुर, अमृतसर, तरनतारन, होशियारपुर, नवांशहर, कपूरथला, जालंधर, लुधियाना, बरनाला, मानसा, संगरूर, फतेहगढ़ साहिब, रूपनगर, पटियाला और मोहाली शामिल हैं। इससे पंजाब के न्यूनतम तापमान में 2 से 3 डिग्री तक की कमी दर्ज की जा सकती है। विभाग ने आने वाले पांच दिन भी पंजाब में घना कोहरा पड़ने की चेतावनी जारी की है।
