भारतीय दूतावास पर हमला: अमेरिका ने निंदा कर बताया अस्वीकार्य

वाशिंगटन। अमेरिका के सैन फ्रांसिस्को स्थित भारतीय वाणिज्यिक दूतावास पर हमले को अमेरिका ने अस्वीकार्य करार दिया है। अमेरिका ने इस घटना की निंदा कर जांच की बात भी कही है।

भारत में खालिस्तान समर्थकों पर कार्रवाई के बाद लंदन और अमेरिका में खालिस्तान समर्थकों ने भारतीय दूतावासों पर हमले किये थे। अमेरिका के सैन फ्रांसिस्को स्थित वाणिज्य दूतावास परिसर की अस्थाई सुरक्षा व्यवस्था तोड़ते हुए कुछ लोग घुसे और वहां हमला बोल दिया था। इसको लेकर भारत ने कड़ी आपत्ति जताई थी। अब अमेरिका की ओर से इस मसले पर बयान आया है। राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा परिषद के प्रवक्ता जॉन किर्बी ने कहा है कि सैन फ्रांसिस्को में भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतावास में तोड़फोड़ ‘बिल्कुल अस्वीकार्य’ है और अमेरिका द्वारा इसकी निंदा की जाती है। किर्बी ने कहा कि अमेरिका निश्चित रूप से उस बर्बरता की निंदा करता है, यह बिल्कुल अस्वीकार्य है। विदेश विभाग की राजनयिक सुरक्षा सेवा उचित जांच के लिए स्थानीय अधिकारियों के साथ काम कर रही है। राज्य विभाग नुकसान की मरम्मत के लिए बुनियादी ढांचे के परिप्रेक्ष्य में काम करेगा।

अमेरिकी विदेश विभाग के एक प्रवक्ता ने भी कहा कि संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका भारतीय वाणिज्य दूतावास के खिलाफ हमले और संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के भीतर राजनयिक सुविधाओं के खिलाफ किसी भी हमले की निंदा करता है। अमेरिका इन सुविधाओं के साथ-साथ काम करने वाले राजनयिकों की सुरक्षा की रक्षा करने की प्रतिज्ञा करता है। फाउंडेशन फॉर इंडिया एंड इंडियन डायस्पोरा स्टडीज (एफआईआईडीएस) ने लंदन के साथ-साथ सैन फ्रांसिस्को में भी कानून-व्यवस्था की विफलता से चकित होने की बात कही जहां कुछ कट्टरपंथी अलगाववादियों ने भारत के राजनयिक मिशन पर हमला किया।

भारतीय-अमेरिकियों ने इसकी कड़ी निंदा करने के साथ इसके लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ तत्काल कार्रवाई की मांग भी की है। भारतीय अमेरिकी समुदाय के नेता अजय भूटोरिया ने कहा कि हिंसा का यह कृत्य न केवल अमेरिका और भारत के बीच राजनयिक संबंधों के लिए खतरा है, बल्कि हमारे समुदाय की शांति और सद्भाव पर भी हमला है। भूटोरिया ने स्थानीय अधिकारियों से इस हमले के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ तत्काल कार्रवाई करने और उन्हें न्याय दिलाने का आग्रह किया। साथ ही उन्होंने भारतीय अमेरिकी समुदाय के सभी सदस्यों से एकजुट का भी आग्रह किया।
