मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के निर्देश पर मुरादाबाद नगर निगम ने वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए वातानुकूलित सीनियर सिटीजन केयर सेंटर तैयार किया है। केंद्र का उद्देश्य बुजुर्गों को अकेलेपन से दूर कर सामाजिक मेलजोल का अवसर प्रदान करना है।
मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के पहल के तहत मुरादाबाद नगर निगम ने बुजुर्गों के लिए अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं से युक्त वातानुकूलित सीनियर सिटीजन केयर सेंटर तैयार किया है। इस केंद्र का उद्देश्य बुजुर्गों को ऐसा मंच उपलब्ध कराना है जहां वह अपनी उम्र के लोगों के साथ समय बिता सकें।
इसके साथ ही आपस में संवाद कर अकेलेपन की समस्या से बाहर निकल सकें। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बदलती सामाजिक परिस्थितियों में पीढ़ियों के बीच बढ़ती दूरी और बुजुर्गों में अकेलेपन की भावना को देखते हुए इस केंद्र की परिकल्पना की गई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि यहां वरिष्ठ नागरिक एक-दूसरे के साथ बैठकर बातचीत कर सकेंगे और सामाजिक गतिविधियों में भागीदारी कर सकेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि केंद्र में बुजुर्गों के लिए बुनियादी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई गई हैं।
इसके अलावा बच्चों के लिए भी विशेष व्यवस्थाएं की गई हैं, जिससे परिवार के सदस्य एक साथ समय बिता सकें। बताया गया कि मुख्यमंत्री ने काफी समय पहले इस अवधारणा को लेकर निर्देश दिए थे। जिसके अनुरूप इस परियोजना को तैयार किया गया है।
