प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के सोना न खरीदने के बयान के विरोध में प्रदेशभर में सराफा कारोबारी सांकेतिक प्रदर्शन करेंगे। बुधवार को ज्वैलर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ उत्तरांचल ने इसका ऐलान किया। दून में भी सराफा मंडल में विरोध जताया जाएगा।
प्रदेश महासचिव गुरजीत सिंह ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के आभूषणों की खरीदारी न करने की अपील का विपरीत असर स्वर्ण कारोबारियों और निर्माताओं पर पड़ता दिख रहा है। सोना न खरीदने की बात ने इस कारोबार को आर्थिक नुकसान की ओर धकेल दिया है। सोना भारत की सभ्यता का प्रतीक है और हर त्योहार में सोने-चांदी की खरीदारी को शुद्धता और धार्मिक आस्था का प्रतीक माना जाता है।
उत्तराखंड के सभी सराफा कारोबारी बृहस्पतिवार को अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में मोमबत्ती जलाकर इस आयात शुल्क की बढ़ोतरी और सोना न खरीदने की अपील के प्रति सांकेतिक विरोध करेंगे। सराफा मंडल देहरादून के अध्यक्ष सुनील मैंसोन ने बताया कि देहरादून में शाम सात बजे धामावाला स्थित सराफा बाजार में कैंडल जलाकर विरोध जताया जाएगा।
सोना हुआ 10 हजार महंगा, व्यापारियों की बढ़ी चिंता
बुधवार को एक ही दिन में सोने के दाम 10 हजार रुपये तक बढ़ गए। दरअसल, सोने पर आयात शुल्क छह से बढ़ाकर 15 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ाया गया। इसके कारण सोना दस हजार रुपये तक महंगा हो गया। सराफा मंडल, दून के अनुसार, बुधवार को 24 कैरेट सोने के दाम 1.66 लाख 500 रुपये तक पहुंच गए।
जबकि एक दिन पहले इसके दाम 1.55 लाख रुपये तक थे। इसे लेकर व्यापारियों में भी चिंता बढ़ गई। सराफा मंडल के अध्यक्ष सुनील मैंसोन ने बताया कि एक ही दिन में आयात शुल्क बढ़ने के कारण 10 हजार रुपये तक बढ़ गए। इससे लोगों को सोना खरीदने में दिक्कतें होंगी। आगे सोने के दाम और बढ़ने की संभावना रहेगी।
