दिल्ली: एलजी संधू ने कुलपतियों और निदेशकों के साथ की बैठक

दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल तरनजीत सिंह संधू ने राजधानी के विश्वविद्यालयों को सिर्फ डिग्री देने वाले संस्थान नहीं, बल्कि रिसर्च और सामाजिक बदलाव के केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा संस्थानों को अब दिल्ली की असली समस्याओं के समाधान में सक्रिय भूमिका निभानी होगी।

उपराज्यपाल ने बुधवार को दिल्ली सरकार के अधीन आने वाले विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों और निदेशकों संग बैठक की। बैठक में शिक्षा, रिसर्च और तकनीक के जरिये दिल्ली के विकास को नई दिशा देने पर चर्चा हुई। एलजी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के विकसित भारत विजन के तहत शैक्षणिक संस्थानों को इनोवेशन, रिसर्च और सामाजिक बदलाव का केंद्र बनना होगा। उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालयों से कहा कि वे केवल डिग्री देने तक सीमित न रहें, बल्कि नए अनुसंधान की भावना के साथ दिल्ली की वास्तविक समस्याओं का समाधान खोजें।

वायु प्रदूषण, ट्रैफिक करें रिसर्च आधारित समाधान
संधू ने खास तौर पर वायु प्रदूषण, ट्रैफिक और शहरी परिवहन, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और सार्वजनिक सेवाओं से जुड़ी चुनौतियों पर रिसर्च आधारित समाधान तैयार करने की जरूरत बताई। उनका कहना था कि विश्वविद्यालयों में मौजूद रिसर्च क्षमता का सीधा लाभ शहर और आम लोगों तक पहुंचना चाहिए।

छात्रों की सामाजिक भागीदारी बढ़ाएं
बैठक में छात्रों की सामाजिक भागीदारी बढ़ाने पर भी जोर दिया गया। एलजी ने कहा कि एनएसएस, एनसीसी और गांव गोद लेने जैसी योजनाओं के जरिए छात्रों को समाज से जोड़ा जाए, ताकि वे जिम्मेदार नागरिक, इनोवेटर और रोजगार पैदा करने वाले युवा बन सकें।

एआई और नई तकनीक भविष्य की जरूरत
उन्होंने एआई और नई तकनीकों के इस्तेमाल को भविष्य की जरूरत बताते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली के विश्वविद्यालयों को टेक्नोलॉजी आधारित और भविष्य के लिए तैयार संस्थान बनाना जरूरी है। एलजी ने सभी संस्थानों से समयबद्ध और ठोस कार्ययोजना तैयार करने को कहा, ताकि शिक्षा और रिसर्च का फायदा सीधे दिल्ली के लोगों तक पहुंच सके।
