मौसम विभाग ने नौ जिलों के लिए यलो अलर्ट जारी किया है जिसके तहत 17 व 18 अप्रैल को पठानकोट, गुरदासपुर, अमृतसर, तरनतारन, फिरोजपुर, फाजिल्का, फरीदकोट व मुक्तसर में 30 से 40 किलोमीटर की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं चलेंगी और बारिश होगी। 16 अप्रैल को भी पठानकोट, गुरदासपुर व होशियारपुर में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश के आसार हैं।

अमृतसर का अधिकतम पारा 34.8 डिग्री, लुधियाना का 35.6 डिग्री, पठानकोट का 33.4 डिग्री, एसबीएस नगर का 33.1 डिग्री, फाजिल्का का 36.1 डिग्री, फिरोजपुर का 35.3 डिग्री, होशियारपुर का 34.0 डिग्री और रूपनगर का 36.2 डिग्री दर्ज किया गया। वहीं अमृतसर का न्यूनतम पारा 15.9 डिग्री, लुधियाना का 15.8 डिग्री, पटियाला का 16.6 डिग्री, पठानकोट का 16.9 डिग्री, बठिंडा का 18.8 डिग्री, फरीदकोट का 16.4 डिग्री, एसबीएस नगर का 16.3 डिग्री, फिरोजपुर का 15.7 डिग्री दर्ज किया गया।
