उपभोक्ता अदालत ने खाद्य कंपनी हल्दीराम मार्केटिंग प्राइवेट लिमिटेड पर 20 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया है। यह पैसे हल्दीराम को अपने एक उभोक्ता को देने हैं। दरअसल कंपनी ने उभोक्ता को एक्सपायरी प्रोडेक्ट बेचने की कोशिश की थी।
क्या है पूरा मामला?
पीटीआई से मिली जानकारी के अनुसार यह घटना पिछले साल 21 दिसंबर की है। फरीदाबाद निवासी निमिष अग्रवाल मिठाई खरीदने के लिए सेक्टर 16 में स्थित हल्दीराम के आउटलेट पर गए थे। अग्रवाल ने आरोप लगाया कि सेल्समैन ने बिलिंग के बहाने उन्हें पहली मंजिल पर भेज दिया और पीछे से एक्सपायर्ड मिठाई पैक करने की कोशिश की।
जब उन्होंने मूल डिब्बे की मांग की, तो सेल्समैन ने उसे देने से मना कर दिया और निर्माण एवं मियाद अवधि समाप्ति की तिथि को छिपाने के लिए डिब्बे को फाड़ दिया। अग्रवाल का आरोप है कि टोके जाने पर माफी मांगने के बजाय कर्मचारियों ने उनके साथ बेहद अभद्र व्यवहार किया।
ग्राहक ने की शिकायत
अग्रवाल ने सेक्टर 12 स्थित जिला उपभोक्ता विवाद निवारण आयोग में शिकायत दर्ज कराई। शिकायत में कहा गया कि उन्हें बेची गई मिठाई 12 दिसंबर, 2025 को बनी थी और उसकी समाप्ति तिथि 19 दिसंबर, 2025 थी। इसका अर्थ है कि मिठाई उन्हें समय सीमा खत्म होने के दो दिन बाद दी गई थी। सुनवाई के दौरान हल्दीराम ने तर्क दिया कि उनके यहां गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण बहुत सख्त है और वे सभी नियमों का पालन करते हैं। हालांकि, आयोग ने शिकायतकर्ता द्वारा प्रस्तुत फोटोग्राफ, वीडियो और फटे हुए डिब्बों के सबूतों के आधार पर कंपनी के दावे को खारिज कर दिया।
