अलविदा जनरल साहब: उपराष्ट्रपति ने दी खंडूड़ी को श्रद्धांजलि

उपराष्ट्रपति सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने पूर्व सीएम मेजर जनरल बीसी खंडूड़ी (सेनि.) के निधन पर गहरा शोक प्रकट किया। उन्होंने कहा कि देश के विकास में उनका योगदान मील के पत्थर के रूप में बना रहेगा। उनके निधन से देश एक विशिष्ट सैनिक, सक्षम प्रशासक और असाधारण सत्यनिष्ठ वाले राजनेता को खो दिया है।

उपराष्ट्रपति आज सुबह खंडूड़ी को श्रद्धांजलि देने उनके बसंत विहार स्थित घर पहुंचे। यहां उन्होंने उनके पार्थिव शरीर को श्रद्धांजलि दी। केंद्रीय मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह, नितिन गडकरी समेत कई नेताओं के हरिद्वार खड़खड़ी पहुंचने की सूचना है।

बीती 17 जनवरी को देहरादून आए उप राष्ट्रपति ने आवास पहुंचकर खंडूड़ी से मुलाकात कर उनका हालचाल जाना था। इस दौरान उन्होंने लोकसभा में पूर्व सहकर्मी के रूप में अपने संबंधों को याद किया था।

दिल का दौरा पड़ने से हुआ बीसी खंडूड़ी का निधन

पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री मेजर जनरल भुवन चंद्र खंडूड़ी (सेनि.) की हल्का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से मृत्यु हो गई। वह 49 दिनों से अस्पताल में भर्ती थे। मंगलवार सुबह 11.10 बजे उन्होंने 91 वर्ष की आयु में अंतिम सांस ली। अस्पताल प्रबंधन की ओर से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक मेजर जनरल बीसी खंडूड़ी (सेनि.) को एक अप्रैल को निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था।

चिकित्सकों की जांच में उनकी आंतों में रक्तस्राव होने की बात सामने आई थी। चिकित्सकों की निगरानी में उनका उपचार चल रहा था। मंगलवार सुबह करीब 11.10 मिनट पर उन्हें हल्का कार्डियक अरेस्ट आया और उनकी मृत्यु हो गई। खंडूरी लंबे समय से अस्वस्थ चल रहे थे। उन्हें बार-बार अस्पताल आना पड़ रहा था। सही होने के बाद उनको घर भेज दिया जाता था लेकिन अप्रैल में भर्ती होने के बाद उनकी हालत में कोई सुधार नहीं आया। 49 दिनों से वह विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों की निगरानी में थे। उनकी मृत्यु से पूरे प्रदेश में शोक है।

प्रदेश के सभी स्कूल आज रहेंगे बंद
